One of my days in North Carolina we drove up up up to Max Patch just over the border in Tennessee. From Max Patch you have 360 view of the surrounding mountains. There are swallows flying overhead and sparrows singing in the meadows. Very beautiful place.
The surrounding woods are lush and mossy.
We spotted some fledglings being fed by their Mama. I am thinking Indigo Buntings? Sorry not the best photos...
