Florida was struck with a marvelous cold front after a very rainy night Thursday. Yesterday was the coldest day since March, according to the news. My apartment is pretty chilly at 66. Many blankets and cups of warm drinks are welcome!
I was very very thankful to be off of work this weekend to enjoy the beautiful weather! My friend Marissa and I went to the Orlando Wetlands Park. It is an amazing place for birding!! Many herons, egrets, ibis, wood storks, anhingas, loads of ducks, and maybe too many vultures. Those vultures were a bit scary to pass on the trail at times.
