My Neighbor Totoro is my favorite Ghibli film. The story is so heartwarming, sweet, and magical. I can imagine being Mei and Satsuki, the scene where they sprout their seeds into trees just seems so... possible. I love it!
So, I decided it was time to paint Totoro. If I find the time, I'll do more, but I started with Totoro napping.
And this was a great reason to watch Totoro like three times while painting! The print is also available in the shop.
