Here are some photos of cute families I saw at Viera Wetlands over the weekend! There were also many families of Great Blue Heron and Anhingas that I didn't get good photos of but enjoyed watching for a long time on their nests. What a cool place! Limpkins eating a snail. This is the most amazing chocolate bunny I've ever gotten. It's a fairy bunny! I'm never going to be able to eat this thing!!
Easter.
Happy Easter. I couldn't get a post out on the actual day, it was too busy. I took a walk around my parents before dinner, not many flowers or mushrooms or anything of that sort, but lots of birds. There were tons of Pine Warblers and some Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, I also spotted a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. I never would have seen these birds without my binoculars, and it's out of reach for my camera, but it sure is a world of wonder up there in the trees! They are curious creatures to watch.
